| Interwest Consulting Group, Inc. was formed in 1994 to offer full appraisal and consulting services. Since that time our identity has evolved into commercial real estate services only, with an emphasis on unusual or complex properties. Services include property tax issues, eminent domain, partial interest valuation, environmental issues, litigation support, and market valuation. Property types include commercial lands and improved office, multifamily residential, retail and industrial properties, with additional experience in landfills, aggregate pits, coal mines, very large industrial properties, contaminated sites, multiplex theaters, hotels and medical properties.
Interwest Consulting Group also provides personal property tax consulting services, assisting taxpayers with compliance audits of returns and appeal of personal property assessments. High-tech, medical, and large industrial properties are a specialty.
Jack Fiene, Principal Partner, holds multiple designations from the Appraisal Institute and the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. With over 26 years experience, he is certified by appraisal boards in four states and has performed assignments throughout the nation. Jack has significant experience as an expert witness, and has led sessions on attacking and defending appraisals at legal seminars. Available as a consultant on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), he performs compliance reviews for lenders and the legal community. He is currently serving as 2005/2006 President of the National Property Tax Group.
